OLRC Kyosho Box Stock

This is the car we won the 2025 West Coast Regional Championship .

The Setup

We started out with a Kyosho Readyset Audi R8 Box Stock Chassis. Then started adding the magic.

Tips and Tricks

Motor Break In
1) Used a single AAA battery, Fully Charged and powered the motor for 3 minutes.
No water or fluids were used.
2) Removed yellow heat cut off switch

Suspension Damping
1) 30k Grease in the center shock housung
2) Small piece of double sided tape under the front of the center shock
